Complete 15 Hours of Service
Being a member of Key Club involves putting in the work. Members should be motivated and willing to put in the time and effort it takes to make a difference in our community and the world. Key Club international requires all members to complete 15 hours of service before they are recognized as an official member. We are requiring our members to complete 15 hours of service throughout the year in order to become an official member.

Pay Your Dues
Key Club is an international organization, and all organizations need money to grow and fulfill their purpose. SHS Key Club Dues are $30 per member, which includes the cost of a Key Club Shirt. It's important to pay dues on time. Try to pay your dues by the November 1st deadline (for Early Bird dues), or December 1st at the latest. Members may join after December 1st, but it becomes more difficult to login the minimum of 15 required hours of service.

Be an Active Member
Being a member starts with attending as many meetings as you can. We meet during Flex on the first and third Thursday of every month, so try to come to at least one meeting per month.

In order to be recognized as a member, you'll need to have at least 15 hours of service by the end of the year. Make sure you're signing up for volunteer opportunities when you can, rather than leaving them to the last minute.

Attend every event possible. If there's a conflict be sure to notify the supervisor of the event at least 3 days before. Do not fail to show up without advance notification.
OUR CLUB
This year, we have reached 72 official members! We currently have 6 Freshmen, 14 Sophomores, 20 Juniors, and 32 Seniors. As of January 28th, we have completed hours of service across 52 different events. Keep up the good work Key Clubbers!
